It’s not easy to accept that your body no longer looks the same and you don’t FEEL exactly the same in your old clothes after having a baby. However, one day I started browsing through the clothing racks at Goodwill while I was there looking for home decor items, and then it was like scales fell off my eyes and a lightbulb went off in my head. After looking at the prices for some good quality items, I felt rejuvenated and excited to shop again! Now I could update my new mom wardrobe on a budget and not feel bad about getting “new clothes” while my body is in transition.
I personally have no problem with second-hand items…I did at first, but as long as what you’re picking up is in great condition, you just get over it. I especially love that you can find some unexpected and really cool pieces that aren’t available anywhere else, especially if it’s a vintage piece. This haul was only the beginning of my new obsession and I will have (many) more videos coming soon where you can see me trying out different styles and being more adventurous with my clothes. That’s part of the beauty of finding things at the thrift store…you often end up with things you wouldn’t normally seek out for yourself!
