That’s right my friend, our Kickstarter project has been funded… we’ve been funded! WAHOO!!!  Thanks to your support, Season 1 of our BRAND NEW online cooking show, Bits & Pieces will officially hit the web in October 2013!  You can get in on the action and watch the show by subscribing to our youtube channel.  We had 30 days to raise $6000, or it was an all or nothing deal.  If we didn’t raise our FULL amount, we would’ve wound up with $0.  That’s some pressure, right?  But thanks to our 101 amazingly bodacious backers, we ended up raising MORE than our original pledge amount!  Talk about being surprised and humbled!

I’m not going to sit here and say that this process was easy, or that we sat back with our feet up while the money came pouring in like rushing waters.  No, in fact, we had to be active everyday to promote our campaign… sometimes even annoyingly so.   But the process is something we’re glad we went through, because we learned a lot about character, perseverance, and faith.

We’ve been freely sharing with you our stats throughout this process since we wanted you to join us on this journey every step of the way. So here they are.

Here’s the FINAL GRAPH of our progress:

As you can see, there were a lot of times where funding was quite slow and those days were rough!  But we had to hold onto hope that we would still make it in the end, even if it was at the last hour.  We found out that some of our backers, family members, and friends would actively check the status of our progress  (sometimes daily), and get nervous with us!  That meant a lot us that people cared enough to do that.  It felt nice to know we had a support system, whether we succeeded or not.  And that made our Kickstarter project process worth it.

Thank you so much for your love, support, encouragement, kind words, shares on facebook, and prayers.  We are so incredibly grateful, and plan to work really hard to bring new creative content for you!
