Yes I am alive! You all know that I’m usually better at updating. If you’ve been a faithful reader, I apologize for not posting new content regularly lately. You see, we’ve been a little preoccupied around here. And I wanted to wait to reveal why later, but my friend urged me to write at least a little something just so you would know I was alive.
We are working on a new exciting project. I don’t want to give away too many details just yet, but I will give you a few hints.
If you ever took the time to read our “about us” section, you would already know that I used to be in fashion design before moving onto food. Also, remember that my husband is an art director and graphic designer.
So I guess you can say this project is sort of like a “fusion” of all our interests and skills combined. It’s been a learning experience and I’m glad we’re doing it.
And I will tell you that over the past several weeks, our lives have been consumed with decisions, such as what size boxes to order, and how many of each.
Or what color crinkle paper to get.
And whether to write this sneak peak entry or not. Originally I didn’t want to write it because I didn’t want to hype it up. But ultimately, I wanted to keep you in the loop. I didn’t want to one day reveal some new project to you out of the blue and leave you feeling blindsided or left out.
I’ll admit. This project may seem “random” to some people, but it makes complete sense to us, and we’re excited for it. A lot of prayer, thought, research, decision-making, and sweat equity went into this. Therefore, I haven’t been doing the greatest job with updating the blog, because it’s been difficult to multi-task or concentrate on anything else.
Please continue to bear with us, and our lack of recipes or videos throughout this developmental period. We’re trying our best to launch before Christmas time, but who knows. It’s definitely a race against the clock at this point. It’s almost done, and we’ll be more than happy to reveal the final product to you soon.
