I’ve been truly humbled by how good of a dad my husband has turned out to be. I was honestly nervous about what he would be like when Lincoln was born because I never pegged him to be the nurturing type. I’m so happy to be so completely wrong.
Whether he’s taking on the 3am feedings, encouraging him with words of affirmation during tummy time when the struggle is real, or sucking out boogers and cutting his nails with confidence because it has to be done, he does it all with sincere joy and gratitude. He always keeps his cool when the crying is incessant, avidly prays for his future, takes countless pictures of Lincoln so much so that he even maintains a separate instagram account just for him, and calls him “adorable” even during the fussy and difficult moments.
I hope Lincoln grows up to know how truly lucky he is that his dad can’t get enough of him. I really had a tough time picking out pictures for this collage because these boys have too many cute moments together.
