Announcing our brand NEW online cooking show, Bits & Pieces! Well…almost! Here’s how. Kickstarter is a website that lets people with crazy ideas, like us, to be able to have a platform to present a unique project idea and then raise funds for it to make it a reality. Joe and I worked tirelessly for days that turned into weeks to make this project and submit it. But, we’re stoked to say that we’ve been accepted. And not only that, but we’ve also been chosen to be one of Kickstarter’s “Staff Picks” projects! WOOT WOOT!
So that’s why I’ve been mute on this blog and all our social media platforms for a while. By now, you know I’m probably up to something and working hard on a project when I’m being quiet and shady.
I was busy drawing little cartoon characters, cutting things out with scissors, thinking of the correct verbiage to carefully express our thoughts, and wracking my brain to think up good rewards to offer backers in return for their support. Joe was glued to his office chair with bleary eyes and a cricked neck trying to edit this monster of a video and turn it into something that made sense, and showed how serious as a heart attack we were about our project, but still showcased our personality.
Here’s the dilly-o. We have a total of 30 days to raise our project’s asking amount- the FULL amount, or else, it’s an all or nothing deal. We can always raise MORE than our initial goal- and that would be like the best thing EVER, but we cannot raise less. That’s right. If we end up being short by even a buck at the end of our 30 day campaign, we get $0 and even the money we raised goes back to all the backers. Sad! {insert Charlie Brown horn sound}
So that’s why from this moment on, for the next 29 days left, you will be seeing me promote this puppy as if my life depended on it. So please do me a solid and be a supporter of our dream.
