Thanks to a free airplane voucher, Joe and I decided to take a random trip to Seattle for a few days. This was our first time visiting and some of our Seattle-native friends were super against the idea of us going there during the winter time. We heard countless times, “why are you going now? It’s going to be so gloomy, cold, and rainy there. You should wait until the summer when the sun is out and everything’s so pretty.” Well, we didn’t have much of a choice as our voucher was going to expire soon, so we hopped on a plane and went anyways.
As expected, it did end up being gloomy, cold, and rainy the entire time, and we didn’t get to see the beautiful mountains and blue skies, but we had a blast, and still spent a lot of time outdoors.
I made sure to carry around my video camera everywhere and document our trip. And through several hours of editing and some inserted interview sections, I’ve turned all the footage into a video diary.
There was too much going on to try to fit everything into one video, so this is only part 1 of our trip. Of course when we post part 2, we’ll let you know here too, so keep an eye out for that. (**see edit below)
