We’re having a baby!

That’s right… our Yooniverse is growing by two feet! ūüôā

If you’ve been wondering why I’ve been radio silent on this blog and YouTube land for the last few MONTHS, it’s because I was too busy being nauseous and hibernating like a bear. ¬†But I’m currently 22 weeks pregnant, which means I’m well into my 2nd trimester and things are finally looking great around here.

Why We Decided to Vlog More

Now that we’re done with Season 4 of our cooking show, we’re already getting comments like, “where are you guys??!” The thing about YouTube is that you can’t be gone for too long. But you know by now that filming an episode of our show takes a while to do. ¬†So in order to put up more regular content in between the seasons of our show, we decided to start vlogging more.

We’ve also started doing this thing called Underground Supper Club. Actually, we were doing this WHILE we were finishing up filming Season 4, so it was a bit of a tiring time. But like Joe reminds me, “if being tired is your biggest complaint about your job, that’s a pretty good job.” I agree.

Cute Korean Guys Making Candy : Korea Trip Vlog 6

On days 12-13 of our Korea Trip, we did and ate so much, but one memory that stuck out to me was watching the street food vendors put on a show. ¬†I felt like everywhere I turned, there was a cute Korean guy scooping ice cream with a wink and a smile, or pulling strands of honey and confectioners sugar by hand to make candy for blushing suckers tourists like me. ¬†I know that it’s a genius¬†marketing strategy and it totally works! Our Experience at BlogHerFood15

It’s been a week since Joe and I attended BlogHerFood15 in Chicago, and I’ve had some time to process it now. ¬†In case you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s the world’s largest conference for food content creators, and it’s held in a different city each year. ¬†This year, it was at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, and Joe and I both went because we were invited to be speakers at a panel called, “Best Practices to Make Great Food Videos.” Read more

What do Sarah Michelle Gellar¬†and I have in common? ¬†We’re both speaking at BlogHerFood15 in Chicago! ¬†This is a MAJORLY HUGE¬†food blogger conference held in a different city every year, and this time it’s in the Windy City! ¬†It’s a 2-day bonanza extravaganza from Nov. 6-7, 2015, and Joe and I will be speaking on a panel together there about food media! ¬†There will be tons of fellow food bloggers and experts there, such as Ree Drummond aka The Pioneer Woman!
