California Eats!

California Eats!

As you probably know by now, we were in California last summer for a couple different good reasons: 1. We were on a family vacation to Disneyland 2. We were featured at YouTube Space LA.  Those two reasons alone kept us busy, but of course we had to make our schedules even crazier by meeting up with our friends and grubbin’ on some good ol’ California eats!

We used to live there, so it was nice to visit our old stomping grounds, experience some places we never tried before, and catch up with our buds over a meal…or two…or three. I’m just thankful that we have cool friends who don’t mind us shoving our camera in their faces.  They also know the rule… nobody eats until we film it first. Haha… I didn’t say it was easy being our friends!

Since we didn’t have a whole ton of time to spend there, we tried to squeeze in as many people and as much food as our stomachs could handle, in a short amount of time.  You can see how it all went down in our VLOG BELOW:

Needless to say, everything we ate was scrumptious and it was nice to go to mostly spots we had never been to before and experience it for the first time on camera.  That Uni pasta though…

I’m not going to hide it, sometimes we do miss California.  And all these vlogs we’ve been posting of our time there doesn’t help with the “home sickness.”  But we’re also making a nice home for ourselves here in Chicago now and it’s nice to know that California will always there for us anytime we want to visit again!  Where are your favorite Southern California eating spots that I have to try next time?  Let me know in the comments!
