We had a chance to visit Joe’s brother, Joel and his sister-in-law, Sharon in St. Louis. These are photos of their precious new born, Kara. As a gift to Joel on his birthday, Joe decided to take some pictures of the happy family. Here are just a few from the collection.
I’m super excited about the new Yoon. This is the first baby of the family, on either side, so it’s the first time I am an aunt as well. How cool, except I don’t like my “aunt title” in Korean, which is “Kun Umma.” In Korean, it just means that I married the oldest son of the house, so that’s not bad. BUT if you want to get technical, in direct English translation, it means “Big Mother.” Great… I am a big mama.
Well, I hope that Kara knows that her big mama will always be here for her. A big congrats once again to Joel and Sharon and their new cutie pie.
